EN A novel idea is worth much in the commonplace routine of life, but a new fact, an astonishment, a miracle, a palpable wandering from the course of things into apparent impossibilities, is a circumstance to which the imagination must cling with delight, and we say again that it is hard, very hard, that Mr. Dodsworth refuses to appear, and that the believers in his resuscitation are forced to undergo the sarcasms and triumphant arguments of those sceptics who always keep on the safe side of the hedge.

Repetimos que é cruel, moi cruel que o señor Dodsworth se negue a aparecer e que os que creron na súa resurrección teñan que sufrir as bromas e os argumentos triunfantes daqueles escépticos que sempre ven os lobos alén da serra.
