EN This system is founded on two basic principles: that the same book should cost the same wherever it is bought, whether in the centre of Berlin or the only shop in a tiny Bavarian village, and that unlike shoes and clothes, the price will stay the same all year round because seasonal discounts are not allowed.
GL Estas lexislacións baséanse en dous principios fundamentais: un mesmo libro custa igual en tódolos puntos de venda, sexa a librería máis céntrica de Berlín ou o único quiosco de prensa dunha viliña de Baviera, e, ó contrario do que ocorre cos zapatos ou a roupa, os prezos dos libros mantéñense invariables en calquera época do ano, pois que non se autorizan os descontos de temporada.
