Leticia Santín Gallego

Leticia Santín Gallego holds a degree in Modern Languages and Literatures with a specialisation in French and German (University of Oviedo, 2019), a master's degree in the use of ICT for language teaching and processing (UNED, 2021) and a master's degree in language science and Hispanic linguistics (UNED, 2023). She is currently a doctoral student at the same university and part of the team working on the project ‘CORPAT-LOCALEs: oral language and linguistic change in Spanish atlases’.

Her doctoral thesis project, currently in its initial phase, focuses on the analysis of lexical change based on geolectal data, integrating an ethnolinguistic perspective.

Her lines of research are dialectology, linguistic variation and geography, and sociolinguistics.
