Daniel Fernández López

Daniel Fernández López (Lugo, 1994) graduated in Galician Language and Literature (2024) from the University of Santiago de Compostela with a Final Degree Project on sociophonetics, specifically on the perception of Galician vocalism. At this university he also studied the Master's Degree in Teaching of Compulsory Secondary Education and Baccalaureate, Vocational Training and Language Teaching (2019) and, in addition, he holds the Higher Degree of Music in Traditional and Popular Music Instruments (2018) by the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Vigo.

During his studies, he did a research support internship at the Instituto da Lingua Galega, where he participated in the projects Edición e elaboración dos materiais galegos do ALPI (Atlas Lingüístico de la Península Ibérica) and Corpus Oral Informatizado da Lingua Galega (CORILGA). He is currently a support staff member at this centre and works as a collaborating researcher in the Nós Project.
