ARCA. Corpus Oral de Galego Rural

The main purpose of the project is to document the oral Galician used in rural areas of the Galician linguistic domain. It is intended to be an updated complement to the existing Galician corpora. The collected texts will be made available to researchers and will allow the description and analysis of the spoken varieties at different levels (phonetic, morphosyntactic, lexical, etc.).

The linguistic documentation will be obtained from interviews recorded in different parts of the Galician-speaking territory. In the first campaign, adults who are habitual Galician speakers will be interviewed. The materials will be offered in audio, in transcribed form and also through a specific consultation tool.
