EN There is no city of 100,000 inhabitants in Galicia, yet the Galicians are everywhere, and, not content with providing a hard-working population in the large cities of Spain and Portugal and South America, they are able to emigrate in thousands to Cuba, where the United States have been quick to recognize their worth, and send yearly whole trainloads of harvesters to Castille: their sickles cover the luggage racks.
GL Non hai aínda ningunha cidade en Galicia de cen mil habitantes, pero, con todo, os galegos están en todas partes e, non contentos con enviarlles ás grandes cidades de España, Portugal e Sudamérica unha poboación afeita ó duro traballo, son capaces de emigrar por miles a Cuba, onde os Estados Unidos recoñeceron rapidamente a súa valía, e de mandar cada ano trens enteiros de segadores a Castela que ateigan cos seus fouciños os andeis de equipaxe.
